Carers in Mind is a six week course which provides advice and support for carers, family and friends of people living with mental health issues.

Taking place at the Institute of Health and Social Care Studies at the PEH, Tuesday, at 6:15pm, the key topics covered include:

Understanding key factors involved in the diagnosis and treatment of common mental health issues

Caring for the carer - developing coping skills and emotional resilience for people in a caring role

Relationships - exploring some of the connections with mental health and relationships

Focusing on practical issues such as time management, developing action plans, talking with mental health services.
