The Book Prescription Scheme
A list of books has been specifically chosen by professionals for their quality as treatments for individuals experiencing mental health difficulties. These books can be borrowed for free at the Guille-Alles Library. Lists of the books included in the scheme are also available at your GP surgery.
The Guernsey Alcohol Advisory Service
A voluntary service to help clients overcome their alcohol and drug problems. GAAS offer one-on-one counselling sessions free of charge.
The HUB offers a free, confidential support service to children, young people and families on a range of issues ranging from bereavement and low self-esteem to online safety and support when questioning your sexuality. Whatever you are going through, big or small, The HUB can help.
Victim Support and Witness Service staff and volunteers are highly trained to provide emotional support, practical help and information to victims and witnesses of crime and their friends and family regardless of when the crime occurred or whether or not the crime was reported.
The service provides pre-trial visits to the courtroom to help witnesses of crime feel at ease with the court procedure and ensure that any special measures granted to the victims or witnesses are set up. We provide clear information and guidance at every stage of the journey through the judicial system.
Our volunteers ensure victims and witnesses never feel alone, supporting them for as long as necessary.
A support group offering a program of recovery from compulsive eating using the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions of OA.
Parents Of Anxious Children
An informal group of parents meeting to support each other, share knowledge and resources, provide information and learn from guest speakers.
An evening social drop-in for mental health service users experiencing a severe and enduring mental health condition. This service is run by the Recovery and Rehabilitation Team. You need to be referred to this by Mental Health Services.

Psychological Therapies and Interventions Service
The service offers both short and long term psychological therapies and interventions for adults (of all ages) who have moderate to severe mental health difficulties. You need to be referred to this by Mental Health Services.
