Victim Support and Witness Service staff and volunteers are highly trained to provide emotional support, practical help and information to victims and witnesses of crime and their friends and family regardless of when the crime occurred or whether or not the crime was reported.
The service provides pre-trial visits to the courtroom to help witnesses of crime feel at ease with the court procedure and ensure that any special measures granted to the victims or witnesses are set up.
